After the practitioner has marked up the area to be treated, a gel pad is applied to the area. The applicator, adapted to the curvature of the area being treated, is then positioned. The fat deposits are painlessly sucked into the applicator and then the cold is triggered. The area is quickly numbed by the cold and the drop in temperature causes the fat cells to die. When the applicator is removed, the skin is massaged.
